Music groups at The Carpenter's Shop engage students' natural love of songs, instruments, and movement, while reinforcing academic skills and introducing early music concepts. Music supports all learning and helps enhance language development of preschool aged children. Our classes are designed to encourage creativity, improve listening skills, and provide opportunity for emotional expression. Preschoolers at The Carpenter's Shop have the opportunity to participate in instrument play and create music with their peers, creating a musically rich environment for each classroom.

Our music therapy groups at Eaton Academy provide fun and interactive ways foster creativity and learning! We use a multi-sensory musical approach to increase of group cohesion, self expression, visual and auditory processing, sensory integration, and ability to sustain attention. Students have the opportunity to engage in and create music with their peers through movement to music, group singing, instrument play, and song writing. Each semester ends with a performance for family and friends to showcase the accomplishments of the students. This group is led by a board certified and licensed music therapist from Therabeat, Inc. 

Music therapy groups at Swift School are part of the Above and Beyond after-school enrichment program. The group is designed to address auditory processing skills, social interaction, sensory integration, and attention span. Students have the opportunity to engage in and create music with their peers through movement to music, group singing, instrument play, and song writing. Each semester ends with a performance for family and friends to showcase the accomplishments of the students. This group is led by a board certified and licensed music therapist from Therabeat, Inc.
